With the emergence and popularity of social media and other public platforms, young people are more engaged in current affairs than ever before and we would like to bring these discussions to your classroom.
Our experienced academics are offering a range of in-school sessions on topical issues relating to law, sociology, criminology and politics, such as migration, gang crime and cyberspace (to name a few). The talks will inform students of the current issues in society, give them a platform to share their thoughts and ideas and encourage debate amongst them and their peers.
These talks have been designed for A- level students studying Law, Sociology, Government and/or Politics, and English.
The booking form and list of talks is available on our website.

Middlesex University has launched a distinctive new campaign, Made in Middlesex, showcasing high-achieving students, staff and alumni such as former fine art student Joe Joyce who won a silver medal in boxing at Rio 2016.
“Middlesex has a rich history of innovation and transforming students’ lives. Today, we are driving social mobility, with our graduates adding value for employers in London and around the world–whether in industry or the public services–and often launching their own businesses. … I hope the inspiring stories featured in the Made in Middlesex campaign encourage others to follow in their footsteps.” - Professor Tim Blackman, Vice-Chancellor of Middlesex University
