Opticks: STEM in a new light and More
Your news from Middlesex University

The Junior Entrepreneur Competition at Middlesex University,  is organised to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event introduces students to enterprise, gets them thinking about business and their future options in a fun and hands-on way.

This year’s competition will be held on Wednesday 14 November at our Hendon campus, from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm and will involve groups of Year 8 students from ten local schools (five students per school).

On the day of the competition, each group will be given a scenario and, under the guidance of Dr Simon Best, who runs Middlesex University's Enterprise Development Hub and a number of ‘Business Gurus’, students will prepare a business plan to present their work to  a panel of experts.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 best business plans and money will be raised for a charity of the winning team’s choice.

We will be providing students with materials and laptops to use, as well as lunch and refreshments. Click HERE to register your interest.
